“Results in under 12 hours, and correct”

The Canada Post strike affected shipping and they handled it perfectly, sending a new kit and a FedEx return label. My results were available less than 12 hours after they received my sample, and we confirmed a baby boy at our 20-week anatomy scan.

“This test saved my gender reveal party!”

My genetic blood test came back without a gender a week before our reveal party. I'm in healthcare, so I set up a collection space without male contamination. Came back female, and it's been confirmed with ultrasound. This test saved my gender reveal party!

“Literally zero pain”

Seriously, it was so easy and painless, I was shocked. I really wanted the Tap collection in my arm rather than the finger prick option. Literally zero pain!

“The test and the ultrasound both confirmed a boy”

Every day of waiting for that first ultrasound to see if we were having a boy or a girl felt like an ETERNITY. When I found EarlyReveal on IG, I just knew I had to have it. The test and ultrasound both confirmed a baby boy!

Questions parents ask before ordering

Is it safe for my baby?

Yes. It's a small blood sample from you, so it poses no risk to your baby. It's a screening test, not a diagnostic test, and it doesn't replace your prenatal care.

Do I need a doctor or a requisition?

No. You order online and collect your sample at home with the Tap device. If you'd rather have a professional collect it, partner clinics across Canada can do it for you. Find a clinic →

Can the result be wrong?

Rarely. Our test is backed by a clinical validation study showing 99% accuracy, with girl results slightly more certain than boy results. The two things that can throw a result are collecting before 7 weeks and male DNA getting into the sample, which is why the collection steps matter. If we're wrong, you get your money back. Read the full answer →

Why 7 weeks, and not 6 like some tests?

Most pregnancies don't have enough of the baby's DNA in the blood before 7 weeks. Waiting the extra week means fewer inconclusive results, so you're more likely to get a clear answer the first time.

How do I get my result? Can I keep it a surprise?

Your result is delivered only in the free EarlyReveal app, your premium pregnancy partner. You choose how to reveal it: open it yourself, plan the perfect moment, or keep it a surprise and send it from the app to someone you trust, like your partner, a friend or your party planner, without seeing it yourself. See what's in the app →

Will I know when my sample reaches the lab?

Yes. Track your sample from your mailbox to our lab in the EarlyReveal app, with an update at each step.

I had a miscarriage recently, or my last baby was a boy. Does that matter?

No. Your baby's DNA clears from your blood within days of a birth or a loss, so a previous pregnancy doesn't affect this result.

What if I’m expecting twins, or had IVF?

Twins: a boy result means at least one boy; a girl result means girls only. IVF: count your weeks from your transfer date, and use our date checker if you're not sure. Check my date →

How can a blood test tell if it's a boy or a girl?

While you're pregnant, tiny pieces of your baby's DNA float in your blood. Scientists call this cell-free fetal DNA. By 7 weeks there is usually enough of it to test. Girls have two X chromosomes; boys have an X and a Y. Your own blood has no Y. So our lab looks for the Y chromosome in your sample. If we find it, you're having a boy. If we don't, you're having a girl.

How we protect your result

Because any Y chromosome reads as a boy signal, we ask you to wash your hands and keep men and boys out of the room while you collect. That way the only DNA in the vial is yours and your baby's. EarlyReveal is a screening test for your baby's sex, not a diagnostic test, and it doesn't replace your prenatal care.

Discover the Best At-Home Baby Gender Test

Discover the Best At-Home Baby Gender Test

EarlyReveal is a leading name in at-home gender tests, offering pregnant women the earliest gender detection method in the comfort of their own homes. Our home gender test, also referred to as a baby gender test, goes beyond traditional pregnancy tests by analyzing fetal DNA markers—often called gender DNA—through a reliable and scientifically-sound gender test.

By using a simple maternal blood sample as the DNA sample, we employ advanced genetic testing methods under the umbrella of non-invasive prenatal testing to identify the sex chromosome makeup of your unborn baby. This approach greatly reduces risk compared to older techniques, ensuring early gender detection without invasive measures or waiting for an anatomy scan.

The Leading Non-Invasive, Early Gender Test at Home

This non-invasive prenatal test at-home employs sophisticated genetic screening to determine the fetus’s biological sex, offering gender prediction as early as seven weeks into pregnancy. By zeroing in on crucial markers during fetal development, EarlyReveal’s noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) provides pregnant women with precise insight into whether they’re expecting a boy or a girl. Our methods emphasize minimal risk and maximum accuracy, letting you move forward confidently. Instead of relying on only medical tests like ultrasounds or a late-stage anatomy scan, EarlyReveal’s cutting-edge DNA-based test informs you sooner, streamlining your at-home gender prediction process and helping you plan for your future babies well before reaching mid-pregnancy.

For the Most Accurate Gender Prediction, Trust EarlyReveal’s At Home Gender Test!

EarlyReveal’s advanced system is designed to prevent DNA sample contamination at every step. Our laboratory follows stringent medical tests and prenatal testing protocols to ensure dependable results from each blood sample.

From the moment a mother collects her sample for gender, we implement specialized methods—including the needle-free Tap device and a sealed collection tube—to preserve fetal DNA integrity. These procedures empower us to offer a Money-Back Guarantee, giving our customers peace of mind.

Supported by robust noninvasive prenatal testing and validated through genetic screening, EarlyReveal’s gender reveal test at-home is the perfect early gender test solution, surpassing conventional pregnancy test options for fast, trustworthy gender tests.

What Is a Non-Invasive, At-Home Gender Reveal Test?

What Is a Non-Invasive, At-Home Gender Reveal Test?

An at-home gender test, sometimes called a home gender test or early gender test, uses a small maternal blood sample for at-home gender prediction. Unlike outdated tactics—such as the baking soda urine “gender test”—an at-home kit taps into DNA markers and sex chromosome identification for earliest pregnancy gender test accuracy. By integrating trusted prenatal testing strategies, it detects fetal development trajectories related to biological sex, minimizing the waiting time for medical tests like ultrasounds later on. This approach lets parents plan sooner and reduces the uncertainty that comes with waiting for mid-pregnancy screenings.

The Leading Non-Invasive Prenatal, Early Home Gender Test

The Leading Non-Invasive Prenatal, Early Home Gender Test

EarlyReveal merges non-invasive prenatal test innovations with advanced genetic testing to deliver conclusive gender tests earlier than ever. This seamless blend of blood sample analysis and DNA-based test technology allows pregnant women to bypass more invasive methods, significantly lowering risk. By focusing on precise markers, we ensure your sample for gender is handled with expert care from shipping to laboratory processing, all within an efficient timeframe.

How Many Weeks into Pregnancy Can You Find Out Gender with EarlyReveal’s Home Gender Test?

EarlyReveal’s earliest pregnancy gender test can pinpoint your baby’s sex at just seven weeks into pregnancy. Our noninvasive prenatal testing process carefully examines the maternal blood sample to identify whether a Y sex chromosome is present—meaning you’re expecting a boy—or absent, indicating a girl. Unlike less reliable gender tests, traditional prenatal paternity inquiries, or relying solely on an anatomy scan, EarlyReveal uses high-level genetic screening to deliver fast, accurate gender prediction. Staying hydrated and confirming your gestational age help ensure optimal levels of fetal DNA for the clearest results.

This ensures the best possible time frame for capturing clear results based on established fetal development benchmarks.
